If you really want all those Basecamp features (who wouldn’t?) with the awesome user-friendly inteface then you can do one of two things. You can go to Elance.com and outsource the work so people can make you a Basecamp clone … heck you can even charge less than they do per month and make money off the new project management solution. Alternatively, you can do like us here at The Web Design Source and find a solution that mimics the features of basecamp but has a life of its own and is opensource (FREE)! I’m talking about ActiveCollab. Their opensource version is quite useful because it is basically a clone of the basic features of basecamp so it does the trick for most. The paid enterprise versions of ActiveCollab are very robust … even more so than Basecamp’s best package! Lets take a look at the comparison breakdown:
